To the Editors:
After reading Neal Ascherson's review of Die Meerschweinchen (The Guinea Pigs) by Ludvik Vaculik in the August 10 issue, I am sure you will be pleased to learn the book will be available in the US this spring.
The Third Press acquired the rights to Vaculik's book in Munich last spring, and we are now in the process of translating it. The Guinea Pigs will be published in English by The Third Press in April, 1973.
