Amnesty International

By Frank Vergata

To the Editors:

Because of the continued interest of both your magazine and its readers in the issues of free speech, political repression, and political prisoners, I would like to appeal for volunteers to aid us in our work.

For those who are not aware of our organization, Amnesty International is a non-political, non-governmental organization dedicated to securing the release of those imprisoned for political, racial or religious reasons.

For those who would like to help, please write or call: Frank Vergata, Amnesty International, Room 47, 200 West 72nd St., New York, N.Y. 10023, (212) 724-9907.
