Emergency Bail Relief Fund

By Karl Bissinger

To the Editors:

With Assistant Dean John Graham of Rutgers University as Director, the Newark Legal Services Project is in the process of establishing an Emergency Bail Relief Fund to assist those indigent persons still in jail as a result of the recent hostilities in Newark.

Experience has shown that default is minimal and anyone contributing will in all probability have their cash bond refunded within an approximate period of two months.

Checks should be made out to: Newark Legal Services Project Trust Account, c/o Oliver Lofton, Director of Project, 114 Branford Place, Newark, N.J.
