Letter

By Mark DeWolfe Howe

To the Editors:

Your success is very close to triumphant. All that I can now do is hope that you will receive such resounding encouragement as to force you to the fulfilment of this exciting promise.

In my academic innocence I am full of confidence that a venture in mature criticism can prosper.

I am hoping, therefore, that this fire which you have set will keep on burning.
