Not long ago, during a layover in Chicago's O'Hare Airport, I ordered a bowl of soba noodles and, despite the crowds, located an empty table. Naturally, there were many televisions around. A football game was being played on the nearest one and I heard a sportscaster announce, with a laugh, 'Well, he's not about to go gentle into that good night.'
