Readers have kindly pointed out that I should make the following corrections to my article "The Surreal Life of Dora Maar" [NYR, April 25]: the difference in age between Dora Maar and Picasso was twenty-six years; Bataille made a brief appearance in Jean Renoir's film Une Partie de campagne, not in Le Crime de Monsieur Lange; and the name of the author of Dora Maar: la ofrenda misteriosa is Alicia Dujovne Ortiz.
