In J.M. Coetzee's review in the May 27 issue, it should have been made clear that Eudora Welty, not Saul Bellow, was the first living writer whose work was published in the Library of America series.
In Sue Halpern's review of Robert Sullivan's Rats in the May 13 issue, Milton should have been named as the author of "Lycidas."
In Alison Lurie's "The Good Bad Boy" [NYR, June 24], the name of Pinocchio's foster father, Giovanni, should have been translated as John, not Joseph.
