In "The Fabulous Five" by Noel Annan [NYR, January 12], Teddy Kollek is incorrectly quoted as having said he saw Kim Philby leaving CIA headquarters in Jerusalem in 1930. The CIA did not exist in 1930. The incident in fact took place between 1951 and 1952.
