In Garry Wills's "A Country Ruled by Faith" [NYR, November 16], the pill referred to as a "concern of the religious right" is the morning-after contraceptive pill, and the replacement for Dr. Frederick Burkle as senior adviser to the Iraqi Ministry of Health was James K. Haveman Jr.
