In response to:

Evolution Toward What? from the February 7, 1980 issue

To the Editors:

In your February 7 issue, I read with a great deal of interest the review by J.Z. Young which lists two books published by the University of Chicago Press: Charles Darwin and the Problem of Creation by Neal C. Gillespie and The Darwinian Revolution by Michael Ruse. In the course of his valuable essay, Mr. Young refers to the groundbreaking work done by Sewall Wright, but there is no mention made of Dr. Wright’s books. For readers wanting to know more about the extraordinary contributions of this biologist, Sewall Wright’s Evolution and the Genetics of Populations has been published in four volumes by this Press.
