Editing 'The Godfather'

In Pico Iyer's review of Michael Ondaatje's Divisadero [NYR, June 28], it was suggested that I had edited all three of the Godfather films. I worked on the sound for all of them, and was also one of three picture editors on The Godfather: Part III, but I did not edit picture on either The Godfather or The Godfather: Part II. The picture editors on those films were, respectively, Bill Reynolds and Peter Zinner; and Peter Zinner, Barry Malkin, and Richard Marks.
