In response to John & Sarah in St. Paul (October 9, 2008)
In the October 9 issue, in Joseph Lelyveld's "John & Sarah in St. Paul," John McCain should have been described as a former bomber pilot. McCain flew an A4 Skyhawk, which was used by the Navy in Vietnam as a light attack bomber, not a fighter jet.
