To the Editors:
There are two inadvertent errors in my article on Chiapas [NYR, December 16, 1999]. The city of Torreón is in the state of Coahuila, not Chihuahua. And Archbishop Romero of El Salvador was of course murdered while celebrating mass in the main cathedral of San Salvador, the capital of his country, not in Chiapas.
