The editors regret that, because of a printer's error, the detail of the halo and artist's signature from Max Ernst's The Blessed Virgin Chastising the Child Jesus Before Three Witnesses, discussed in Leo Steinberg's article "This is a Test" (May 13) on page 24, was reversed. The halo should look like this:
