The Chestertons

By Graham Greene

In response to Innocent at Home* (April 28, 1983)

To the Editors:

I have not read Alzina Stone Dale's Life of G.K. Chesterton but one of Mr. Cameron's criticisms [NYR, April 28]: "She is waspish about Ada Jones, who married Cecil." It is difficult to see how she could be other than waspish about this quite abominable character, whom I once had the misfortune to meet.
