Where Zweig Died

By Edvard Fendler

In response to Guilty Secrets* (March 18, 1982)

To the Editors:

Your excellent article on Stefan Zweig [NYR, March 18] contains one error. He committed suicide with his second wife in Petropolis, a beautiful mountain resort above Rio de Janeiro. His memory is still cherished there.
