I am writing to express my appreciation to you for the service you have provided with the recent publication of The New York Review of Books.
My staff has examined the journal carefully and agrees that a high degree of excellence has been added to book reviewing in this country. The caliber of the reviews is certainly on a level comparable to that of the London Times Literary Supplement.
