In response to:

Broken Blossoms from the March 5, 1964 issue

To the Editors:

In reviewing Arthur Miller’s play After the Fall, Mr. Jonathan Miller writes that at some points “the play rises to the heights of Paddy Chayefsky” etc. The clear implication of this remark is that the author of After the Fall is worse than the author of The Passion of Josef D.

But that is impossible.
