In response to:

Puritan Hedonist from the October 22, 1964 issue

To the Editors:

Surely it was only a momentary distraction that allowed Martin Turnell to call Julian Green’s Chaque homme dans sa nuit still untranslated when there are three separate editions available in the United States alone. It was rendered into English by Anne Green as Each in his Darkness, and was published by Pantheon, McClelland, and British Book Centre, Inc. It would be unfortunate for a reader without French-to miss so interesting a work because he did not know of a translation.
