To the Editors:
We are taking this means to ask our fellow members of the Modern Language Association who agree with us that next MLA convention scheduled for Chicago should be shifted to another city as our protest against the brutality and deprivation of civil liberties in Chicago during the Democratic Convention to send us their approval of our proposal so we can present it as a resolution to the Executive Council of the Modern Language Association.
