To the Editors:

I have just read the inspired press interview of President Nixon on the inherent rights of unborn Americans as reported in your recent issue, and trust I may be forgiven for injecting this personal note. I, too, was unborn until I achieved the miracle of birth in the stolen presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes, a national crime which has shaped my political thinking from the year 1879 to the present moment. Since I have been unable to overcome this embedded bias, I confess that my vote for our next president in 1972 will perforce be cast for the Democratic candidate.
