Penelope Fitzgerald’s Charlotte Mew and Her Friends, the British edition of which Brad Leithauser reviewed in these pages (January 15, 1987), is now available from Addison-Wesley as part of the Radcliffe Biography Series. To our edition we have added a selection on fifteen of Mew’s poems and, as a foreword, an abridged version of Mr. Leithauser’s article.
