The quotations from the former political activist Edzer Pierre in Peter Dailey’s article “Haiti: The Fall of the House of Aristide” on pages 44 and 46 in the March 13 issue were first reported in an article by Michael Deibert, “Notes from the Last Testament,” which appeared on the Windows on Haiti Web site (www.windowsonhaiti.com) in May 2001.
