In Frank Rich’s review of Gary Hart’s The Courage of Our Convictions: A Manifesto for Democrats[NYR, October 19], Hart should have been quoted as referring to “the invasion of the Philippines a century before” and as urging “that the Democratic Party restore the Truman principle of international alliance.”
