In the December 23 issue, in Sarah Boxer’s “The Last Irascible,” Saul Steinberg left Romania for Italy when he was nineteen, not seventeen, and he and Hedda Sterne split up in 1960, not 1961. In Eliot Weinberger’s review of “The World of Khubilai Khan: Chinese Art in the Yuan Dynasty,” the illustration on page 83, a detail from the hanging scroll Khubilai Khan Hunting, depicts an archer, not Khubilai himself.
