Andrew Sarris Memorial Screening

The Museum of Modern Art plays tribute to the highly influential film critic who died last spring with his 1964 Warhol screen test and a screening of Max Ophul’s 1948 Letter from an Unknown Woman, an amazingly fluid and romantic movie by a director Sarris ranked high in his pantheon: “Love, the memory of love, the mortality of love comprise the Ophulsian heritage.”

Tickets are free with admission to the museum, or can be purchased up to one week in advance at the main lobby information desk.
