Come celebrate the beginning of NYRB Poets, a series which will continue the eclectic, adventurous spirit of NYRB Classics with a focus on the most vital, various, and universal form of literature: poetry.

While attending the AWP Conference in Boston, we will be launching NYRB Poets at Grolier Poetry Bookshop in Harvard Square. Reading from and discussing our first two books in the series will be Matvei Yankelevich, who selected and translated poems for Alexander Vvedensky: An Invitation for Me to Think, and Don Share, who did the same for Miguel Hernández.

We hope to see you for a night of poetry and drinks as we embark on an exploration of poetry’s possibilities.
