The Complete Fritz Lang
Harvard is consecrating the summer of 2014 to the great pulp artist who pioneered sword-and-sorcery, science fiction, spy, and serial killer movies in Germany—then emigrated to Hollywood where he helped invent film noir. A number of the silent films, including Metropolis and both parts of Die Nibelungen, are being screened with live accompaniment.
For a complete schedule of screenings, please visit the Harvard Film Archive’s website.
