The most drolly anarchic cine-provocation to bloom during the Prague Spring, Vera Chytilova’s new wave farce looks better every year. It’s remarkable that this feminist Duck Soup buddy film isn’t as well-known as, oh, Bonnie and Clyde, but this week-long run of a new 35mm print should help.
