Mark Lilla speaks at Evoke 2012

Mark Lilla, Professor of the Humanities at Columbia University and author, most recently, of The Stillborn God: Religion, Politics, and the Modern West, will speak on the topic of Faith at EVOKE 2012: Beauty-Money-Sexuality-Love-Violence-Faith-Substance. Described as “an exploration of the seven entities that most acutely influence the actions, choices and aspirations of human beings,” EVOKE 2012 will feature seven speakers, each of whom “will shed light on each theme, and collectively…reveal how interrelated the themes are, especially in the context of urban India.” Other speakers include:
