The Robinson Institute,’ Patrick Keiller

A must for fans of Keiller’s brilliant condition-of-England films London (1994), Robinson in Space (1997), and Robinson in Ruins (2010), which all chart the eccentric journeys made by his wandering outlaw-scholar, Robinson. This exhibition suggests, somewhat optimistically, that engagement with actual and artistic landscapes may inspire the revolutionary overthrow of neo-liberalism. The display collages all manner of books, pictures and sculptures with haunting stills and clips from Keiller’s own films.
