Tepepa…Long Live the Revolution

The most politically ferocious westerns of the Vietnam era were made in Italy. Franco Solinas, who wrote Battle of Algiers, provided a script for Guilio Petroni’s Tepepa…Long Live the Revolution (1969) as though adapting The Wretched of the Earth. This is the first time the complete version is showing in the US. Guest star Orson Welles is an added attraction.

Tickets are available by calling the box office at (212) 727-8110 or online at filmforum.org. Also with a showtime on June 16.
