‘Timon of Athens’

This Shakespeare-Middleton play about wealth and greed is hard to make work with modern audiences, but director Barbara Gaines has a way that sounds very promising—she is making the lead character, Timon, a hedge fund operator in modern America, with the brilliant Ian McDiarmid as Timon.
