A Tribute to Karen Black

More than any actress, Karen Black (who died this past summer) personified the New Hollywood of the late Sixties and early Seventies. This week-long tribute at BAM Cinematek features her best known films, Five Easy Pieces and Nashville, as well as several seldom-seen genre films, Cisco Pike and The Outfit, and, most notably, Ivan Passer’s first American movie, Born to Win.
