The Wicker Man’

Robin Harvey’s much-loved 1971 cult film (recently discovered in a longer version by the Harvard Film Archive) is striking for being one of the few British horror movies with a totally indigenous feel—suffused in Celtic rock and rampant Druid worship, and at times suggesting a perverse Ealing comedy. Christopher Lee is the master of revels as the hipster lord of a remote Scottish island.
