I’m grateful to Gail Levin for pointing out an error in my essay “Buildings Come to Life” [NYR, February 23]. The work that Jo Hopper referred to as a self-portrait of Edward Hopper is not an etching of a lone tenement but a painting of a lone Beaux Arts building.
