The Center for Fiction Moves to Brooklyn
The Center for Fiction will celebrate its move to downtown Brooklyn with an opening party with live music, food and drink, and door prizes from local vendors. Tickets are $35. All proceeds will support The Center’s KidsRead/KidsWrite program.
The center’s programming will begin the following day, with writer Amit Chaudhuri in conversation with The New Yorker’s James Wood. In April, regular contributor to the Review, Deborah Eisenberg, will be in conversation with Alexander Chee. Programs will also include reading groups and writing workshops led by Idra Novey, Jonathan Santlofer, Paul La Farge, and Weike Wang, among others.
