Lady Fleming

By Ernst Chain, A.W. Frankland, A.A. Glynn, Frank Goldby, Christine Hodges, Lewis B. Holt et al.

To the Editors:

The arrest and imprisonment of Lady Amalia Fleming in Athens has caused grave concern among her many friends and former colleagues in this country.

Because Lady Fleming is a sick woman and because of her very special position as the widow of Sir Alexander Fleming, we appeal through you to the Greek Government to allow her all necessary care and medical attention so that her health is not further imperiled by imprisonment.
