I enjoyed John Wain’s thoughtful review of Pottle’s James Boswell: The Earlier Years [NYR, June 9]. However, I must point out that in the author’s acknowledgements, he certainly does make clear that there will be a Volume II, which he will write in collaboration with Frank Brady.
