In response to:

Philosophy in a Cold Climate from the April 25, 1968 issue

To the Editors:

Anthony Quinton, in “Philosophy in a Cold Climate” (April 25, 1968), remarks that Adam Schaff’s Marxism and the Individual “has not yet appeared in any language but Polish.”

I take it he is referring to Schaff’s Marksizm a jednostka ludzka (1965). It has in fact been translated into German as Marxismus und das menschliche Individuum and published by Europa Verlag, Vienna.
