My review of Dave Eggers’s A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius [“Notes of a Son and Brother,” NYR, September 21] omits—inadvertently—the name of the interviewer whom I quote several times in the piece. She is Fran Gordon, and her skillful interview with Eggers appeared in Poets & Writers (July/August 2000).
