'The Moment Has Come to Get Rid of Saddam' from the November 8, 2007 issue

The transcript of a conversation between George W. Bush and José Marìa Aznar that appeared in the November 8 issue was adapted, with the assistance of Scott Staton, from a translation by Álvaro Degives-Más.

In Joseph Lelyveld’s review of Arthur Schlesinger’s Journals, 1952–2000 [NYR, November 8], the statement that Madeleine Albright was “a third-rate woman, and not a nice one either” was quoted by Arthur Schlesinger as having been made by Richard Gardner.

In giving the heading “Talking Back to Prozac” to Frederick Crews’s article in the December 6 issue, the editors inadvertently drew on the title of Peter Breggin’s book of 1994, Talking Back to Prozac: What Doctors Aren’t Telling You About Today’s Most Controversial Drug (St. Martin’s).
