In response to:
Edmund Wilson: Letters to John Dos Passos from the March 3, 1977 issue
To the Editors:
I enjoyed the Wilson letters to John Dos Passos (NYR, March 3)—carrying dates from my own literal as well as literary infancy. Of special interest was the reference to A.J. Muste and the “Musteites” and Brookwood Labor College.
Readers may want to know that within the past several years the A.J. Muste Memorial Institute has been set up as a tax-exempt foundation to fund the kind of projects that will continue to reflect the long, controversial, and productive life of A.J. Muste. For information, write A.J. Muste Memorial Institute, 339 Lafayette Street, New York, New York 10012.
