C.L.R. James

C.L.R. James (1901–1989) was a Trinidadian journalist, historian, Marxist, and intellectual best known for his 1938 history of the Haitian Revolution, The Black Jacobins, and his 1963 cricket memoir, Beyond a Boundary.
