Hugh Raffles

Hugh Raffles is a professor of anthropology at The New School for Social Research, and the director of the Graduate Institute for Design, Ethnography and Social Thought. His writing has appeared in Granta, Public Culture, Cultural Anthropology, The New York Times, Cabinet, and Orion. He is the author of Insectopedia (2010) and, most recently, The Book of Unconformities: Speculations on Lost Time (2020). (October 2020)
